some words…

I am an Italian composer based in Paris, Fellow 2024–2025 at the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici, and I teach electronic music at IRCAM.

By focusing on bass instruments and electronic processes that project gesture into space, my work explores the physical presence of sound, shaped by a tension between compulsive rhythmic energy and moments of introspective stillness — a duality between an introspective nature and a life rooted in vibrant urban environments.

I see sound as a space for shared experience and awareness, where the process of listening becomes a form of engagement and transformation.

My music has been presented at major European festivals such as Donaueschinger Musiktage, ManiFeste, Festival Éclat, and Festival Propagations, with the support of IRCAM, Fondation Royaumont, France Musique, SWR, and the Fondation Pierre Boulez. It has been performed by Ensemble Musikfabrik, the SWR Vokalensemble, Johanna Vargas, Ensemble 2e2m, Talea Ensemble, Ensemble Linea, and Florentin Ginot.

Among my main mentors are Marco Stroppa, Philippe Leroux, Franck Bedrossian, as well as Mikhail Malt and Luigi Verdi.

Recent projects include On the Edge (SWR Vokalensemble, Donaueschinger Musiktage 2024), Faro (Ensemble Musikfabrik, Fondation Pierre Boulez, Villa Medici, IRCAM 2025), and Espaces Blancs (GMEM Marseille 2025). I am currently developing Détails et Retails, a sound installation inspired by Matisse’s Jazz, for the upcoming exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris (Centre Pompidou / IRCAM).
